Money makes the world go around!
Not only, but especially banks are handling the greatest sums of cash within a national economy.
Through banks the public, the retailers and the other partners in the economy get their cash-outfit.
We show the standard cash cycle of a national economy at our homepage (here).
In trying to optimize the cash handling in the banking sector one has to take in concern a lot of very different and very special topics:
Stock and float of cash, security of branches, terms of insurance, security of cash-supply , interest on money stocks, reliability of service partners (e.g. CIT-companies), operations of cash dispensers or ATM, etcetera.
On all these topics one can save or lose money by optimized or semi optimal processes , outfits or service-partners.
For many credit banks we analysed their existing situation, indicated hidden risks and/or wasted possibilities and developed optimized structures and processes to reduce risks and costs concerning cash handling and holdings.
We at OHU mean as banks not only the privat credit banks but also the national reserve or central banks.
For Germany e.g. OHU developed the basic logistical concept for the phasing in of the euro notes and coins in 2001/2.
